Peak. Author pulls off the "comes home, shows off how much he changed" in a way that feels fresh and riveting. I was glued to this book. Probably my favorite in the series.

Pacing was rough. I almost didn't finish. Glad I did because the series picks back up.

Better, still finding its feet, rebuilding lost momentum.
